A lover of her Appalachian heritage, Judy loves to retell old traditional tales along with stories of growing up on a small farm in upper East Tennessee, "with cows and chickens and usually a puppy or kitten around." Catching tadpoles in the spring and helping in the tobacco barn in the winter rounded out the years on the farm. Vacation Bible School complete with homemade pimento cheese and spam salad sandwiches and Sunday School in the church basement are all fodder for new stories.
"I have enjoyed listening to Judy spin her tales in a variety of venues to many different audiences and age groups"
